Berea, Ohio (May 12, 2014) Ultimate Headers has recently expanded its growing header product line with the addition of a center dump, block hugger header design for the iconic small block Chevy engine.

The new small block Chevy header adds an eye appealing “finishing touch” to the engine compartment of street rods and other custom cars and trucks. These new headers are perfect for roadsters with exposed engines, but will be a terrific complement for any street rod or custom car or truck powered by the classic small block Chevy engine.

Like all Ultimate Headers, the new center dump block hugger design features the unique investment cast 316L Stainless flanges which delivers a distinctive appearance. The flanges are TIG-welded to light weight, high strength 321 Stainless Steel 1-5/8 in. tubes. The tubes are mated to Ultimate Headers’ exclusive, 2-1/2 in. investment cast 316L Stainless collectors which provide increased exhaust flow, and exits parallel with the engine’s oil pan rail.

The Ultimate Headers small block Chevy center dump, block hugger design headers are available in POLISHED (Vibratory or Mirror), SATIN, plus 1800° ceramic coating (Black or Silver) finishes, and will not rust. Each set of headers includes: 2 header assemblies, ARP 12-point fasteners, Mr. Gasket MLS (Multi Layer Stainless) header gaskets.
